How It Works
Map My Mind is a study workspace built around notes you write yourself. It has three steps: write it, connect it, practise it.
Step 1: Write Your Notes
Create a subject for each thing you are studying, and split it into chapters if that helps. Write your notes in your own words, in the subject or chapter where they belong.
Nothing is imported or written for you. The study material is yours, so you decide what belongs in it.
Step 2: Connect Your Ideas
Link related concepts in a mind map, so you can see how a subject fits together. Open a concept to read and edit its notes, or add text directly to a subject or chapter map.

Step 3: Practise from Your Notes
Generate a test from your notes and mind maps. You choose the scope, from a single chapter to a whole subject, the number of questions and the kinds of question you want.
Answer the test, then see your score and an explanation for each answer. For written answers, the AI marks your work against a marking guide and explains its feedback, so you can decide what to study next.

Plan Your Study
Tasks and calendar events sit beside the subjects they belong to, so you can see deadlines and study tasks together and keep every action connected to its subject.
Take Your Notes with You
Export your notes, and your tests, as PDF or Word documents whenever you need a copy on paper or in another program.
Your Language
You can use Map My Mind in 11 South African languages. South African Sign Language (SASL) is not currently available in the app.
What the AI Does, and What It Does Not
The AI writes test questions from the notes you choose, and it scores and explains your written answers. It does not write your notes, and it does not decide your grades.
When you generate a test or submit a written answer, the relevant notes, question content and answer text are sent to our Azure OpenAI service. AI feedback can be wrong, so use it for practice and not as an official assessment. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information.
Free During the Trial
Map My Mind is free to use during our free trial. We plan to introduce paid credits for the AI features later. We will tell you before that happens, and you will not be charged unless you choose to buy credits. See our Terms of Use for the details.
